About

Paradigma Journal of Social Sciences is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal that addresses the theoretical, methodological, and applied dimensions of the social sciences through a holistic perspective. The journal aims to examine the phenomena of human and society in a multidimensional manner and to analyze changing social dynamics from an interdisciplinary standpoint. In this sense, Paradigma seeks not only to contribute to the production of academic knowledge but also to highlight the potential of the social sciences to offer critical and innovative insights into contemporary issues.

The journal focuses on paradigm shifts and methodological transformations within the social sciences. It opens up discussion on the central issues of our time—such as modernity, globalization, digital transformation, environmental crises, social justice, cultural interaction, identity, migration, political economy, and epistemological diversity—within an interdisciplinary framework. Paradigma Journal of Social Sciences regards theoretical diversity in the social sciences as a form of richness and encourages dialogue among positivist, interpretivist, critical, post-structuralist, and pragmatist approaches.

Published quarterly, the journal accepts original research articles, review papers, book reviews, and critical essays written in Turkish or English. All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process, ensuring scientific impartiality, ethical reliability, and methodological consistency. Paradigma values not only the empirical but also the theoretical contribution of each study, fostering the intersection of local experiences with global academic debates.

The publication policy of Paradigma Journal of Social Sciences is grounded in the principles of academic autonomy, ethical integrity, and public benefit. Upholding the belief that scientific knowledge should not be confined to academic circles, the journal adopts an open-access model to promote the dissemination of knowledge to wider audiences and to encourage its reproduction through interaction with diverse segments of society.

Believing that the social sciences are not merely descriptive but also transformative, Paradigma Journal of Social Sciences positions itself as an academic platform that nurtures critical thinking, methodological innovation, and theoretical depth. In doing so, it aspires to provide an intellectual foundation for shaping the future of the social sciences.
